Biografía
Radio Luxemburgo no era una emisora que se sintonizase
muy bien, pero la música que ponía era digna de
escucharse, aunque la calidad no fuese buena. Y en
una de esas canciones, sonó "Heartbreaker Hotel" de Elvis Presley, a la que
cambió por completo el sentido musical de un joven de Liverpool de 16 años
llamado John Lennon. Ese sonido le cambiaría por completo su forma de percibir la vida. Uno de esos cambios de percepción, fue el interés por
el Rock 'n' Roll, promovido en aquella época por Elvis, Ray Charles, Chuck
Berry, Bill Haley, entre otros. Y ese estilo hizo que Lennon cogiese a
cuatro amigos del instituto en el que estudiaba, el "Quarry Bank", y
formase un grupo de música, que en honor al instituto se llamó "The
Quarrymen". La caza de acordes resultaba primordial para hacerse un
