The Go-Go's fueron el grupo femenino de mayor popularidad
emergido de la explosión Punk/New Wave de finales de los 70 y
principios de los 80, llegando a ser la banda femenina de más
éxito comercial que no estaba controlada, gerenciada ni
producida por hombres. Aunque sus sencillos exitosos - "We
Got the Beat", "Our Lips Are Sealed", "Vacation",
"Head Over Heels" - eran New Wave Pop, el grupo
